Thank you for booking a cruise with Pacific Electric Boat Rentals.

Our address is 201 East Coast Highway, Newport Beach, CA 92660.

Please have your entire party arrive 15 minutes early for check in.

Note: Your rental will start and end at the time you reserved, even if you or your guests arrive late.

Please be sure to take note of the following important details:

​

• Please bring your driver’s license AND credit card for a security deposit.  (NO debit cards are accepted).

 

• The renter on record and the person who provides the credit card must be 25 years of age or older. Anyone who drives the rental boat must also be 25 years of age or older.

 

• The driver must remain under a Blood Alcohol Level of .08.

 

• Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited.  Excess cleaning fees will be assessed for any type of smoking.

 

• Please respect our boats and be mindful of leaving the boat in a clean condition at the conclusion of your rental.

 

• The boat accommodates a maximum of ten (10) passengers, including children of all ages. No exceptions.

 

• No swimming, fishing, jumping off the boat, or docking at any docks/restaurants in the harbor.

 

• Please stay 100 feet away from all fishing line when driving the boat.

 

• Ice, beverages and snacks may be purchased across the street from our office at the gas station mini-mart.

Parking and Check-In:

​

There is plenty of free parking next to our office. You may park anywhere directly in front of or directly past our office. 

Please DO NOT park in the small strip with the sign marked “Marina Parking” (this is a permit only lot reserved for boat owners only).

​

If you have booked your cruise for a weekday, please check in for your cruise inside our office. If your booking is for a weekend, please check in at the podium on the patio next to our office.

Security Deposit:

​

We reserve the right to place up to a $1,600 hold on your credit card as a Security Deposit for damages, additional cleaning fees, late fees, etc.

​

Cancellations and Rescheduling:

​

Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours in advance of your rental for $50.

Changes can be made up to 24 hours in advance for $25.

Within 24 hours of your rental, there are no changes or refunds.

​

Rain Cancellation Policy:

​

We will reschedule or refund 100% of your rental if at 9am on the day of your rental, the iPhone Weather app says there is a 40% or higher chance of rain during the specific hours of your reservation.

Our Duffy boats have a full top cover and with eisenglass windows that close to keep you warm and cozy even when the weather is a little chilly.

 

Additional Information:

• Dogs are welcome! One dog is allowed on the boat. Dogs must be under 20lbs and a dog fee of $25 will be payable at check in (including service animals).

 

• It is typical in our industry to provide a gratuity to the dock service team, if you felt that they did a good job. We trust that our team will do their utmost to provide you with a wonderful experience and top notch customer service!
